Green Art Lab Alliance Partners

May 2013

Together with eighteen cultural organizations in Europe we formed a partnership to investigate what environmental sustainability implies for art and culture. From 2013 to 2015, we aimed to promote environmental sustainability and research how that can be challenged in practical, ethical and artistic ways, across arts and cultural communities across Europe. MUTUAL artist-in-residence IMPULSE is a two year long project, currently in its second phase: Erik Hagoort (Trans Artists), Heidi Vogels (AiR Platform NL / Trans Artists) and Gaston ten Horn (M4 Gastatelier) are travelling in Siberia (Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Ekaterinenburg) and participating in workshops, seminars and meetings on the topic of "Center and Periphery". The first stage of the Mutual Impulse project was meant as an inventory of artist-in-residence potential in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
