Writers' Colony at Dairy Hollow
The Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow (WCDH) provides temporary residence for working writers, songwriters and composers, supporting and protecting their creative process. "... It is powerful to be in a place where creativity is nurtured and supported. Working in a community of writers, in an environment where writing is valued and respected, has forever changed my relationship with writing. The Writers' Colony at Dairy Hollow provides the perfect combination of solitude and fellowship in an idyllic and magical setting." --- Linda Mannheim.
The writers' suites are completely private and include a sitting room, writing space, fireplace, bedroom and bathroom - and two have kitchens. All facilities are air conditioned. Dinner is served in the main dining room in the evenings and is the only community meal. Breakfast and lunch are on your own with food provided. Quiet and creative space are protected, and writers are free to establish their own working schedule.
The Writer's Colony is located at the site of a former inn at Dairy Hollow
