Palazzo Monti
Palazzo Monti is a cultural center hosting a residency program, an exhibition space, and a private collection, founded in 2017 and located in Brescia, Italy.
In the heart of Brescia, stands a 13th-century palace decorated with frescoes from 1750. It hosts a remarkable artist residency, Palazzo Monti. Turned into dynamic workshops, its spaces regain a new life: here, from early morning until late at night national and international artists are invited to share their everyday life and experience several artistic practices: painting, photography, sculpture, visual arts and design while delving into a unique and creative environment.
To date, over 250 artists from 50 countries have been welcomed by Palazzo Monti. There, they have created paintings and prints, installations and objects in ceramic, iron, bronze, marble or wood inspired by the savoir-faire of the Italian territory. Completely independent, the artist residency program was founded in 2017, financed and curated by Edoardo Monti, a collector and curator from Bergamo.
Open studios, public events, solo and group shows, participation to Palazzo Monti's offsite events in Italy and abroad.
