Sustainable Bolivia is a non-profit foundation based in Riberalta; the capital of the Bolivian Amazon. SB's specific goals are to promote and assist charitable organizations and activities in Bolivia, and to promote economic and environmental sustainability. It is an umbrella institution with over many projects and partner organizations. Sustainable Bolivia’s art residency is one project aimed at promoting the arts in Bolivia, while fostering intercultural exchange and dialogue between international and local artists.

Applicants will be provided with a large furnished living space, a private studio, and access to art contacts in Bolivia interested in showing their work. Exhibitions will occur in Cochabamba and potentially in La Paz and Santa Cruz; Bolivia’s 3 largest cities.
