Application guidelines:

The applicant must:

  • be a professional in the creative sector
  • foster collaboration and exchange between various disciplines (inside and outside the building)
  • use the space for professional artistic activities without a primary commercial purpose
  • have an attitude of commitment with regard to the DCR and its activities
  • complement the current group of tenants – we aim for diverse, high-quality tenancy

Applications will be assessed by the DCR rental advisory committee comprising of five DCR tenants from various disciplines.

Description

De DCR is a cultural incubator that also houses 40 permanent studios for artists and designers, including the studio of Satellietgroep, Zaal 3-laboratory for Performing Arts (formerly Zeebelt), sound studio Loos, Cloud Danslab and exhibition space Nest.

Studio Information

Each studios space includes a private kitchen and bathroom, shared washing machine and wireless internet. There are bicycles available and the DCR Gueststudios are located near the center of The Hague, on biking distance from the sea, Gemeentemuseum, Stroom, Mauritshuis, etc.

Location

Near the center of The Hague (7 min. by bike). Rotterdam is 20 min. away by train, Utrecht is 40 min. away by train, Amsterdam is 50 min. away by train.
